My daughter, Kim, has MS and can no longer work. Her and her husband, Dustin, are raising four beautiful boys. Their furnace went out. While they don't need heat at this time of year, they will need air conditioning come summer, as Kim's MS makes it difficult to regulate her body heat. She can become overheated, which affects her vision. She is legally blind, so this makes things even harder. Please help them.

I am falling behind on updates. Luckily for Kim, this summer has been far from the hot it could be. Due to her medications and the MS, she can't regulate her body temperature. Heat nearly puts her in a tizzy. Still, despite it all, she tries to keep upbeat.
Our summer was made a little busy over the Fourth of July weekend. We had Nick and Tommy stay for the weekend. They were thrilled with our movie nights and real popcorn made in a Popper. Nick would pick up Tommy, so he could watch the popcorn pop. We took the boys to the Mars Cheese Castle and wore matching crowns. We, also, purchased a left-handed ball glove for Nick who was struggling trying to play right handed.

Thanks to all of you who have contributed and / or shared our fund. We've now passed $2,100! We still have a long way to go, but we can get there! Thanks so much for helping out this wonderful family! Please enjoy this video of our amazing boys, who have been through so much. It isn't easy having a mother with a debilitating disease.

We'be crossed over the $1500 mark! We still have a long way to go. I've contacted a couple of furnace manufacturers to see if they have programs to help. I'll keep you posted. Thanks to everyone who has donated and shared our posts! Please keep sharing, as we want to spread the message far and wide. I've been told by a couple of people to take today's photo down. They say it makes Dustin look lazy. But, a lazy man isn't what I see in this picture. I see a man who loves his family. I took this picture a year ago after we returned from a family outing. It had been a long day. Tommy asked Dustin if he could sit in his lap. Dustin, who calls Tommy bug, said, "Sure, bug, climb on up here." Five minutes later, they were both sound asleep and I snapped the picture with my phone. I love that picture. It shows Dustin's Daddy side. It's not easy being the father if four rambunctious boys and it's even harder with a disabled wife, but he does it. Not many men in this world are like Dustin.
