Greetings! We trust that all is well with you and yours! The hospital is on its way to recovery but there is still work that needs to be done! So far, there has been great progress made as we have completed the outpatient clinic, and partially equipped the laboratory, renovated and equipped the XRAY room, opened a 15 bed unit, installed a water pump for running water, bought an ambulance, renovated and equipped the theatre-Operating Room (OR), and held medical camps every year for the past 5 years.

The number of patients served depends the resources (supplies, medicines and personnel) mobilized.

Some of the services rendered during the medical camp include-- Eye Care Services, Minor ailment Treatment,  Screening of Cervical Cancer, HIV Testing and Counseling, Screening of Jigger and treatment,  Screening of T.B., Antenatal Care Family Planning and Immunization, Deworming, Diabetes screening, Hypertension screening and treatment, Malaria treatment, Typhoid treatment as well as Health Education and promotion Activities among others. The next medical camp is planned for March 10th--20th, 2017.

As mentioned above, the OR is only partially equipped and needs to be fully restored in order to perform operations. There are 2 volunteer surgeons on standby waiting for the equipping of the theatre in order to begin operating. Replacement of the burnt-out ultrasound unit and a laboatory blood analyzier. Approximately $25,000.00  is needed to continue this work
