An all-volunteer multiracial group of women have worked hard to pull together this event - a march and rally at the downtown Federal Bldg, 300 N. Los Angeles St, LA. Your donations will help pay for: porta-potties, videographer, copying, art supplies for banner and sign making, telephone costs, translation equipment and more.
M8 in LA is part of IWS events happening in 51 countries. Beginning with a call from women in Argentina, we are calling for: reproductive justice, labor rights, a living wage for all workers including mothers & caregivers, full social services, environmental justice, anti-racist & anti-imperialist feminism, and against: sexual abuse, domestic & state violence, poverty, war, discrimination, incarceration, criminalization of survival, environmental devastation…
