This is a quote from his mother Whitney's faceBook page,
"We found out we were pregnant with Logan on Christmas Eve 2012 and he passed on Easter Eve aka Black Saturday 2014. This is a dark day, but the light is knowing he is with Jesus and we will see him again."
For a long time, we believed that our children were some of the last lights and hope in the world. Losing one so bright, has been a devastating loss, but all of you have given us hope. Lucky and I, as well as our family and friends, have been given a renewed look on life. Seeing so many people come together in honor of our Tiny Titan, some who didn't even know us at all, has shown that there is still good in the world. Many people have expressed how this has touched them, and seeing the outpouring has made them want to reach out and start helping others.
Again, I wish I had more words, better words to express how deeply touch we are. I want you to know that all of your prayers have been carrying us. We have a peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank you.
Whitney and Jason McConnell
"Since seeing the contributions last night for Logan, I have been trying to gather the proper words for all that everyone has done in support of Whitney and Bradley. I know that you can always rely on family in times like this, but I have to thank all of our family, grandparents, parents, aunts uncles, brothers sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews for doing so much more. I won't use names because I would be afraid to leave one of you out, on either side. Thank you all!!!
So many people contributed leaving me in awe in the short amount of time. Whether you contributed or reposted the link I cannot thank you enough for helping. The names of those that helped are a reflection of past and present memories of people that our families hold close to our hearts.
However, I have been asked and feel obliged to give a "Shout Out" to the 101st Airborne. Thank you!
I ask that you still keep the McConnell's in your thoughts and prayers. The reality of it all is starting to hit home for them.
We are truly blessed with amazing friends and family. I honestly cannot put in to words how amazed and completely humbled we are.
God Bless all of you."
To all of the 101st Soldiers who donated. We could not be more thankful for everything you have done. I don't think I could ever make express how thankful we are for your support. Logan will be missed dearly and such a precious little man deserves much more than we could ever offer. Brad and Whitney.. I love you guys soooo much. Wish I could do sooo much more.
