"Lockdown"- Post Production Funds

We are excited to announce we wrapped principal photography in July, with the help of many generous and passionate people who are deeply concerned about this issue.  We still need money for post production, editing, post visual effects, music composition, and finishing costs.  Thank you to everyone who has donated- please pass this on to help us finish this important film!  We are eager to get our film and message out to help make an impact to end gun violence.  ~ Give Film

LOCKDOWN is a dramatic short film, seen through the eyes of an eleven year old boy as he tries to save his friend’s life during an active shooter attack in his school. This film is based on a short story by Caleb, a 6th grader from a public school in Teanck, NJ. Children who witness the violence or cower behind locked doors to hide are traumatized. The film will show the impact of gun violence and how continual exposure to actual threats or even to in-school practice drills affect the emotional development of our children, resulting in life long consequences.  This film is a CALL TO ACTION to get parents, lawmakers, schools and community leaders to work together to pledge to protect our children from inexplicable violence and commit to prevent future mass shootings in schools. As part of our Give Film Foundation mission, this film will raise awareness and funds for organizations that are working to implement safer gun laws to protect our children. 

We are raising funds to post the film through contributions and in-kind donations from concerned parents,
advocates, small businesses, and investors that understand that this film is an excellent way to get the message across and effectively benefit the public.

We have set up a Go Fund Me page to solicit financial support across the country.     
All donations will be tax deductible. LOCKDOWN completed principal photography in New Jersey in July 2019.
