UPDATE Monday September 21, 2015:

THIS IS IT! We have AMAZING News! We now have an acceptable process to get a VISA to travel with Lilly from Uganda to the United States for Bone Marrow Treatment in the USA. The actual TREATMENT which we thought would be in the Millions of Dollars, is actually being COVERED AND WILL BE DONE FOR FREE by a MIRACLE of kindness!!! But we do need your help....

The ONLY THING WE NEED is an additional $20,000 by this Friday 9/25 to cover the workup & final medical testing in USA, and also cover VISA and travel. We have been cleared to go but must prove that we have this funding to the authorities here BEFORE we are allowed to leave! We have ONE WEEK and this is Lilly’s only chance. I shared this news yesterday with some friends and family, and already a $5,000 donation has already come in from a complete stranger!! (Note that the funds already raised here, as you know, have gone to the much needed in country hospital bills)

You have already given and have been so kind to have helped us get to this point, and we are eternally grateful. Now we have a clear path. My DESPERATE CALL TO ACTION TO YOU, as a Mother, is please….if you were considering helping again, please do NOW, and please tell your closest friends about Lilly and this cause. Just when we thought all HOPE was lost, God sent us the ANSWER! Help us walk through this door God has opened for Lilly.

With just the followers here and where we have posted elsewhere, donations of $35 from every one would get us to the goal, yet every bit you might be able to give again will help. Thank you for helping me save my beautiful little daughter. Abandoned at just 10 days of life, Lilly coming into my life was a miracle on its own. I've been honored to become her mother and caregiver, and blessed now to have this opportunity to help her live. Lilly’s life matters and we will have YOU to thank for saving her!

Today we embark on this URGENT 5 day life-saving campaign. Please share this with EVERYONE you know! Are you with us? Together WE CAN DO IT! Please check back often this week on our progress.

Our Full Story

I became the mother of my youngest daughter Lilly on January 10th 2014 when she was just 10 days old. She had been brought to me after being abandoned. We then went on a relentless pursuit to find her biological family and after several months of this the Lord made it clear that I was to become her mother through adoption. Shortly after Lilly’s first birthday she started getting sick, we were admitted to 3 different hospitals these hospitals were able to stabilize her for the time being but not fully diagnose and treat her continuing symptoms.

Today we recived news that Lilly has Leukemia. We are currently living in Uganda, and Lilly has no legal guardian, so in order for her to go the the US for medical treatment we need to expedite the  process of granting legal guardianship. We also need to get her travel documents as well as continue to fund her medical treatment while still in Uganda. Please pray and give as the Lord leads you!

Lillyis so full of life and love, she is the epitome or resilience, and is the most absolute joy to be around. She is only 14 months old and she deserves a chance
at life, she deserves the best medical care possible, she deserves hope for a future. Please be one of Lilly's Heroes!
