The Life of Pikelet Rescue Ranch fund is now at code red!
We are desperately needing to get cracking with raising funds for a Rescue Ranch deposit.
With a fallow doe (Pony) in sanctuary care LoP are in dire need of suitable sanctuary land and space to maintain the level of care needed for deer. In just a few months LoP will be the first port of call (as its deer birthing season) in NSW for orphan deer babies (fawn). There are no NSW sanctuaries that offer a safe haven for deer or orphaned fawns.
Life of Pikelet has also been contacted about the rehoming needs of Pillow pig and her sister Penny pig, along with ex-foster bully pup PJ who now also finds himself needing specialised foster care to help him rehabilitate from some undesirable behavioural problems. On top of these two urgent and seperate rehomings, the current foster pup at Life of Pikelet is classified as high-special needs. French Bulldog girl "Picnic" is paralysed in her hind legs and needs longterm specialised round the clock care.
To say the Life of Pikelet Rescue Ranch has now reach urgency would be an understatement.

The Life of Pikelet Rescue Ranch Go Fund Me project aims to raise deposit funds on a suitable house and land package which will see open the first rescue companion animal sanctuary of it's kind in NSW, Australia.
Our Rescue Ranch will be located close enough for the larger population of Sydney to reach. Ensuring that the future adopting community can easily attend the Rescue Ranch for pre-adoption meet & greets where adoption interviews and home/yard checks are also manageable.
Currently, as a small foster home renting in the inner city of Sydney, we are at capacity. Life of Pikelet is a newly registered rescue and we are having to turn animals in need away on a daily basis. We are simply unable to function as a reasonable sized rescue without the means to do so. This is heartbreaking and we feel utterly helpless.
The big picture vision for the Life of Pikelet Rescue Ranch and AirPnP is to provide a clean, safe, nurturing & well equip environment to temporarily house and rehabilitate animals of many species, readying them for their forever homes.
Combing the Rescue Ranch with our 'adventure/working' holiday style AirPnP (Pikelet & Patty Cakes) guest house, will enable us to bring the magic of Life of Pikelet from computer screen to reality. Both encouraging people to enjoy and experience the rescue lifestyle while also educating and inspiring. A dream destination for those animal lovers who want an Aussie holiday with an entirely unique experience.
Life of Pikelet has very proudly raised an excess of $150,000 for charities & rescues worldwide in just 4.5 short years. This Go Fund Me campaign came at the suggestion of many generous & long time supporters who would like to see Life of Pikelet progress and expand. With this sanctuary, Life of Pikelet will register for charitable status and grow substantially in the ability to rescue and rehabilitate a larger volume of animals in need.
The amount we hope to raise with this campaign is for a deposit only.
Our never ending passion for fostering, rehabilitation and rehoming is something we'd like to continue, it's something we know we are good at and it's something we aim to do more of.
