My name is Salomon Chami , many of you knew my wife Lidya Chami A"H.
When I first met Lidya I knew from that second I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her , unfortunately that wasn't meant to be .
On Monday Morning February 27 2017, after battling for more than 6 years, she lost her battle to Breast Cancer .
The past 12 years have been the best years of my life, and I thank g-d everyday i got the chance to be with her , and watch her be the most amazing mother to my children .
Lidya was and will always be the love of my life , she was my everything.
She gave me the best gift to remember her , two beautiful boys ages 9 and 10 who will remind me of her everyday.
Lidya was an amazing person , she always thought about everyone else and never about herself.
She would start her day by texting her friends to " smile the suns out. "
She would reach out to other cancer patients who wanted to give up and inspire them to keep on fighting.
She would financially support girls who couldn't afford to get married , she would make sure they made it down the aisle and took care of the financial burden.
She always wanted to help whoever she could however she could .
Help me continue Lidyas love of helping those in need and those who are desperate for inspiration to continue fighting.
To help be there not only for the people who need the help but their family members as well.
At the Lidya Chami Hesed Foundation we will continue what Lidya started by reaching out to those in need whoever and however we can , to help them the way Lidya did.
