Lexi the Husky needs Chemotherapy

Donation protected
Lexi  has only had one owner since he was 4 months old.  He is now 13.  His elderly owner , who was my neighbor, died a few months ago leaving Lexi homeless.  He is now in a foster home where he is thriving.  He has another 2 year old dog that he plays with and a young couple who love him dearly and will adopt him but cannot afford medical expenses.  Lexi is in excellent health except for a recurring tumor.  He has had it removed a few times.  It is a type of cancer that does not spread to other sites but stays local.  He had surgery to remove the tumor again 3 weeks ago and recovered quickly.  The oncologist is now reccomending that Lexi has oral chemotherapy which will stave off the tumor growth for 2 years.  Given his age, we only want to provide Lexi 2 or 3 more years of playing with his "brother" Cash and having a comfortable life.  If you would like to see more photos and a video of Lexi here is the link:   LexiTheHusky.jennbphoto.com  . The amount we are hoping for is for 6 months of chemo.  The oncologist says there will not be side effects from the treatment which would impact his quality of life.  For those of you who know me I would never do that to an animal.  Please help us give Lexi a few more years of having the life he deserves! Please donate any amount you are able to, no amount is too small!  We all thank you, especially Lexi!
