Hail Damage to Humane Society

On April 11, 2016 our facility in Wylie, TX was severely damaged by softball sized hail. Several windows, sky lights, ventilation hood and the entire roof were destroyed totaling $30,437.64 in damages. After our deductible we are responsible for the remaining $20,400 in repairs which has been a tragic hit financially to our non profit who's main financial focus is for the care of the animals day to day needs in our adoption program. UPDATE: All Star Restoration based out of Allen, TX made a $10,000 donation to help offset the cost and is working with the insurance company to cover more damages that were not in the original claim. We are putting the window and sky lights in this week. The roof will be delayed due to the impending storms. We will keep everyone posted!
