Our dad's health is failing and the Veterans Affairs does not cover most of the medical expenses and none of memorial service. He lived in New Jersey until about 2007 when we moved to Allen, TX to be closer to his grandchildren. During his years in Texas he has made friends and family and touched the lives of others through his story as a Tuskegee Airmen in World War 2. We would like to have a memorial service in TX and then have one in his hometown church in Rutherford, NJ where he will be next to his sisters and brother. Our goal is $20,000 to cover the fees for both services and medical expenses. Our dad never asked others for anything, but he was always the first to help with everything. I'd like for him to have the proper memorial services that he would make sure someone else had. Thank you
