In Memory Of "Killer" Ray Allison
"I don't feel that no big stone should be put over my head, saying he did this, he did that. Unless there's something that I really did do. I believe I'm just ordinary. And I'd like for people to think of me that way, as just a guy that tried. Wanted to be loved by other people because he loved people." - B. B. King
Rosemarie, I'm really sorry to hear that you, a first cousin, hadn't seen Ray for over 50 years. It's too bad for you that you didn't get to know Ray and his beautiful lady of over 35 years PJ. Now that you are showing concern for Danny, I would like you to know that both Ray and PJ, have always taken care of Danny and now PJ herself will continue doing so. Hopefully any monies collected from this site will help PJ pay for anything she has had to pay for for Ray's services and help towards the day to day care of taking care of Danny. I don't think Ray's family who haven't seen Ray or Danny for decades need to worry about what happens to Danny now. PJ stood by Ray for almost 40 years and will stand by Danny, just like she has for years.
my name is Bo i
I am a first cousin of his and have not seen him for over 50 years. My mom and sister went to his wake and met many of his friends and learned of his music career. And we learned of his brother (my father's (rip) brother's (rip) son) of his condition. So many years without sharing, everyone striving to make their individual lives meaningful. RIP Ray Ray.
Ray has been cremated and his remains are held by an elder cousin.
Hello everyone I wanted to know what the fund is going to be used for. His brother Danny Lee who is 59 years old is in the nursing home. Are these funds going to support his care or funeral arrangements when it is his time to go?
