KILIMANJARO SCHOLARSHIP FUND
EDDIE FRANK, the founding guide of Tusker Trail, has been leading Kilimanjaro climbs since 1977 .
Over four decades of climbing Kilimanjaro has helped him forge an intimate relationship with the Kilimanjaro community, his Tanzanian guides, staff and the 600 porters Tusker Trail employs for their climbs.
Some of the poor kids in the Kilimanjaro area cannot afford the cost of school fees, uniforms or books. One kid, the son of a porter, has spinal bifida, and cannot walk to and from school. The cost of his daily transportation adds up.
Tusker Trail's Scholarship Fund pays for some of the costs of these needy kids, all living in the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
The fund is run in conjunction with the Lions Club Moshi-Kibo , a charitable organization helping the poor and needy in the region.
Thanks for helping out the kids of Kilimanjaro.
If you make a donation of $200 or more, we'll send you a free bag of delicious Kilimanjaro coffee beans.
