Please join us in commemorating the life of Kenia Buckner, who was shot and killed on Monday, January 16, 2017.
Kenia was a student and a mother of three. She completed the LBCC Certified Nursing Assistant Program this past fall and was in the process of taking prerequisites for a nursing degree.
She was a woman of high moral character, well-mannered, with a pure heart full of kindness. She was always smiling and was a person full of grace, poise, and empathy.
She was a wonderful single mother who took on many challenges balancing her academics, work, and family life to ensure her children were provided for and able to attain a quality education.
This fundraiser is expressly for the support of Kenia's children.
