Headstone for Kelly O'Hearn Gillum

Most of you who know me also knew and loved Kelly. In a few months it will be the second anniversary of her passing. I am still heartbroken, but I’m healing. We all are, one day at a time. It has been harder than you can possibly imagine for me and for the rest of the family. She was such a light in our lives that it's been hard not to focus on the darkness left in her absence.


One of the things that has continued to weigh on us is that we haven't been able to afford a headstone for her final resting place. That’s what this campaign is about. Get Kelly a nice memorial grave marker. Her Mother, Linda and I have decided on a design that is very similar to her sister Meghan’s, who she lies next to. The amount that we’re asking for will be just enough to cover all of the costs and fees (within $5! – Kelly would have loved that!). I would like to order it soon so that it’s ready in time to install in March (or as soon as the ground thaws).

I am so humbled and grateful for all of you and all that everyone has done in these past few years. Kelly was so loved and so loving, we are forever blessed to have been a part of her life.
