Keep The Kids Singing

The Children's Choir of Chico is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children, youth and women by providing extraordinary choral music experiences through quality music education, excellence in performance, service to the community through song, and opportunities to represent our community through national tours and festivals.


Currently, there are 40 children/youth and 20 women singing in the choirs.  All choirs annually perform in two CCOC Concerts and as guest choirs for various local organizations, residence facilities and events.  Most recently, our choirs participated in the DCBA Christmas Preview, Enloe Holiday Tree Lighting, DCBA Christmas Tree Lighting in the City Plaza, and the CSUC "Glorious Sounds of the Season", a Chico State Music Department scholarship fundraising performance.


We are funded through individual tuitions, donor campaigns, concert/performance proceeds and a variety of fundraising activities. In past years, CCOC was the recipient of grant funds from the City of Chico Arts Council. Unfortunately, this is a resource no longer available in our community and we are struggling financially.  As a result - WE NEED YOUR HELP! As we look towards our annual primary fundraising event in March, 2017, we find ourselves operating at a deficit for general operating expenses. We are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every donation made through Go Fund me, or directly on our site, is tax deductible.
