Fighting For My Son

Donation protected
I've been waiting for a miracle, I suppose.  I am not the type of person to ask of others, or even ask for help...  But for my sons safety and sake, I can't wait any longer.

Thank you for taking the time to help my Son. I am Troy, Phoenix's father.  His mother and I used to live together in my house, until I caught her drinking - again. I had had enough. There were other major concerns - patience level, physical and mental abuse issues. I had stayed in this parasitic relationship for as long as I did simply to ensure that my son was safe. But it was time to get out.

Since my son was now speaking and had his own voice, I initiated court proceedings because he and his safety have always been my number one priority. My parent's, after witnessing first hand what was happening, paid for my lawyer with their retirement. Almost right away, accusations began flying from the other party.    Items like this have been wasting time and money, however each of these accusations have been "unfounded" but have left the lawyer's account dry.

The other party has even gone as far as bringing up motions to restrict me from posting pictures or video of my son on my daily YouTube vlog, or ANY social media site. (Hence the reason that I can't show my son even in THIS posting.)

To make matters worse, I was laid off from my job just before all of this began. I decided to create my own job security and start my own legitimate business - which has been struggling and barely paying the bills. This is mainly due to the season, but also because of the turmoil and continuous court proceedings that need to be tended to, so I am unable to put 100% of my effort into making my business work. I am glad that I DO have the flexibility of owning my own business, because there is not a company that I know of that would allow someone to take so much time off at the last minute to deal with these excessive court dates, signings, document reviews, etc.

Phoenix is currently residing with the Mother - because I don't think that anyone is taking my concerns seriously, especially since she is lying and constantly making up accusations - the court doesn't know who to believe.

On top of that, child support has been ordered at a rate that FAR EXCEEDS what I am able to currently pay. So, I am also behind.

Trial isn't until July of 2016 - and I'm afraid that if I'm unable to continue to retain my lawyer, my son will continue to be subjected to a lifestyle that could damage him physically and emotionally for the rest of his life.

Anything that you are able to donate will be sent directly to catch up back support, and continue to support legal fees so that my son can be represented justly in a court of law.

My son means the world to me. I want him to be raised in a house of love, compassion, patience and understanding. I want him to have the opportunity to be an attribute to society, not a liability. He shouldn't have to worry about the effects of alcohol. He shouldn't have to be subject to mental or physical abuse.

I will never stop fighting for my son.

If you are lucky enough to be able to talk directly with any of my friends about the kind of person I really am - the kind of father I am - or the wonderful child that my son is, I'm certain that you would be assured, and proud, that you're giving to the correct campaign.

My thanks to you will be reflected in the light in my son's eyes when he realizes how many people - most he never knew - could care so much about him.

If you are not able to assist monetarily, please help by sharing this campaign. THANK YOU!"
