Keep a Roof Over Our Heads
The past three years have been really rough. Between the car accident that left me with nerve damage in my neck and a herniated disc in my back, a severely sprained ankle that put me out of commission for six months, and now an as of yet undiagnosed neurological condition, I’ve been left without the ability to work steadily and maintain the income needed to keep a roof over my family’s head. The bank threatened foreclosure, but I was able to keep it at bay by paying a little here and there as I could and began the process of applying for a loan modification last November. After an arduous process of chasing down the correct documentation needed to fulfill the bank’s demands, they finally made a decision at the end of July to deny my request. Now I’m in real danger of losing my home that I’ve fought so hard for and only have 30 days to do it. The money from this would go towards covering the amount I’m behind on the house in order to keep a roof over my daughter’s head.
Write me a Haiku // I donated at "Buddy" // to help save your roof.
Julie my sweet dear... in addition to any incentives you're offering, if any of my friends make a donation to you, I will write them a poem, too! I need you to keep this house so mini-me and I can visit mini-you and you! Keep your head up - I'm pretty sure we've GOT THIS THANG. :D
It's an impossible situation, and the bank doesn't care that you've done everything you can. They don't care that you took a job that you had to, not that you wanted to. They don't care that you walked to work when your car broke down. Some of us do, though. And that's why we're helping.
Hello, when is the "due date" that you have? Just want to know how much time there is to spread the word!
Looks like all of fandom is coming out to help you here Julie :)
