URGENT UPDATE:
Thursday March 23rd, we had our first thunderstorm of the spring. In spite of taking all the precautions, we suffered some casualties electronically. Specifically, we lost audio cards, which will cost $2,000 to replace.
We urgently need your help to offset these unexpected costs. Please help, and help us spread the word!
Hello, I am JJ McCartney, and I have been a radio broadcaster since I was 15 years old(in 1978).
I am a conservative libertairian and a devout Christian.
5 years ago, I got very sick.
Thankfully, God has given me the strength tpo persevere through my maladies, although I am disabled and each year my condition grows a bit worse.
In spite of that, I am engaged in the one thing I can do: My daily radio show. It is my connection with he outside world. Until I am no longer able, I will press on, as i believe the mission of my radio show is my divine calling.
The show literally takes everything I have to continue physically speaking. It also takes everything I have financially.
The radio show has expenses which come due monthly and (bigger lump-sum licensing fees) which come due every April.
We need your help to keep going! We are trying to sell sponsorships/advertising, and once we can grow enough revenue to be self-sustaining, we will no longer need to ask for help. I believe that day may not be too far away. But until we reach that place, we are still on a fixed income, and without help, we will simply not be able toafford to offer the show to people across the platforms upon which we were able to grow the show.
Your help will enable us to continue our expanding radio outreach. In the past four years, We have become a part of several online radio networks, and we continue to see exciting growth.
As a matter of fact(one we are very proud of) in the past 6 months, we began live-streaming on YouTube. This has grown our audience dramatically.
In the last month, we logged nearly 3,000,000 (yes, 3 MILLION) listener minutes on YouTube alone!!
Our show is absolutely free to listen to, be it live or archived, and we have had steady listenership not only in the United States, but in several dozen nations all around the world on every continent.
