Sahara Trek for Beat
Donation protected
I am currently fundraising for Beat – UK’s eating disorder charity, which:
* Offers free support to individuals suffering from eating disorders, as well as their friends and family members
* Promotes and supports eating disorder research
* Combats eating disorder stigma worldwide
* Raises awareness about eating disorders
I have a history of binge eating and understand some of the struggle that people suffering from eating disorders go through. It is so much more than disordered eating, and includes:
* Social stigma
* Depression
* Anxiety
* Stress
* Powerful impact on mind and body
* And much, much more…
But it is also a very personal journey and everyone’s road to recovery is different. This creates a need for charities like Beat that can offer support to people from all walks of life. Because of this, I am taking on a personal challenge to improve my physical and mental health by going on a trek in the Sahara in November, while raising money for Beat!
Please read and share my story, and help me raise money for Beat by donating today! Donations of any size are very welcome, and even by giving just £2 each, together we can make a huge difference in supporting the amazing work that Beat does.
* £5 could send an eating disorders information pack to anyone affected by eating disorders
* £35 could run the Beat Helpline for half an hour
* £50 could run an online support group for carers to let them know that they're not alone
* £100 could fund a trained Beat Helpline support worker for a day

Thank you for supporting my cause!
Wishing you love, kindness and mindfulness,
Kat :)
