Karma Ling before the fire:
Karma Ling - a place of peace and love - the biggest Buddhist center in France situated in the heart of the mountains has burned down on Dec 1st.
This is all that remains of a beautiful 16th century historical building that used to house most of the activities of the community - the kitchen, the dining room, library, temple, offices...
While most of us are happily looking forward to the holidays, the community living at the center is facing a harsh situation: the kitchen was distroyed by the fire, the center is isolated from the world, the routes are blocked by snow, and as the center activities were interrupted, they have no more revenues.
This community brought peace of mind to many of us who had the chance to spend time there. The time to show our solidarity and compassion has arrived.
Together let’s lend a helping hand to the Karma Ling community to help them recover and rebuild the center.
The money raised will go to the community for rebuilding the center after the fire.
