In my opinion, Kāne’ohe is the greatest place to live. Not only for the vastly beautiful Ko’olau mountain range, but for the pride and comradery I’ve always felt within the community. My name is Dayna Sandobal (Chun), I am a graduate of James B. Castle HS class of 2005 and am creating a gofundme account on behalf of one of our own, Jaime Y. Kido.
After having a nagging sickness for weeks, Kido went to the doctors, test after test was taken... On May 25th2019 he received the daunting news – Stage II Lymphoma Cancer. First step is the attempt to remove tumors, surgery is scheduled for June 20th. High dose medications to follow. Later, we’ll find where the cancer has metastasized.
With ongoing illness, treatment quickly approaching, and the unfortunate reality of being unable to work, Kido is reaching out for financial and spiritual support from his Kāne’ohe Family.
