WHO WE ARE

We are a diverse group of designers and researchers with a broad skillset eager to address issues in a way that transfers the knowledge to its ends users so they can help their community and ultimately widen our collective impact.

WHAT WE DO

We create contextually driven places that respond to public needs and aim to impact the larger community as a whole. We believe in design as the means of addressing social needs, enhancing the local economy, and instilling community pride.

HOW WE DO IT

Our team is lead by young Architects, Engineers, Doctors, Nurses and designers that combine empathy for the context of a problem, creativity in the generation of insights and solutions, and rationality in analyzing and fitting various solutions to the problem context.

WHY WE DO IT

At its core, our work is about improving communities through contextual responses derived from a deep understanding of the end users; ultimately, we believe in empowering people through their immediate environment.

CAUSE

Kinitiative has an opportunity to receive a consignment of $1,000,000 worth of medical equipment to be donated by the World Medical Relief. The benefactor of this consignment will be the hospitals and clinics in the Gambia, West Africa. This will be a great relief to the Gambian people because of the fact that patients do not have beds to lay on at times when they go to the hospital and doctors/nurses find their jobs very challenging due to lack of equipment. We intend to raise $50,000 as funds to ship this consignment of medical equipment to the Gambia. We will be saving a lot of lives just by hitting our target of raising $50,000.
