KID SURGE is a Broward County based company who is passionate about “empowering kids through fitness & music” by providing Sports, Dance, and Zumba programs for youth in our South Florida community to educate, entertain, and encourage self-expression in a safe, structured and motivating environment. We provide classes to kids’ ages 3 - 12 years old combining our own original music and popular upbeat songs Monday-Friday at 15 locations in Broward County.
Our Sports programs are instructed by Coach Rost, who is a Florida Certified Physical Education Teacher, with 5 years of experience, National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Aerobics & Fitness Association of America Certified Group Exercise Instructor. The sports featured in the program are: Basketball, Football, Hockey, Scoops (Lacrosse), Soccer, T-ball, Tennis and Ultimate Frisbee.
Our Dance and Zumba program is instructed by Ms. Vera, childhood dancer and Certified Zumba Instructor. She has taken numerous Dance classes such as: African, Hip Hop, Latin, Middle Eastern, and Modern. Dance styles featured in the program are: African, Bollywood, Country Line Dancing, Hip Hop, Latin, and Modern.
KID SURGE supplies all the equipment to facilitate our programs. We run programs throughout Broward County in schools and private facilities in Coral Springs, Dania Beach, Davie, Deerfield Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes, Lighthouse Point, Pembroke Pines, Pompano Beach and Sunrise. This 2016-2017 school year we are starting programs in other areas in Broward and expanding into Palm Beach. In addition, we have worked with non-profits such as the American Association of Caregiving Youth, American Disabilities Foundation, MarshMellow Dreams, and Spirit of Giving Network all in Boca Raton, FL
Each financial contribution assists kids to partake in our programs. We promote kids to be physically active, to have fun doing fitness, and to learn healthy habits for preventing a sedentary lifestyle. With an increase in enrollment, we are seeking additional equipment and instructors to facilitate programs. Your support is invaluable for bringing Sports, Dance and Zumba programs to kids in South Florida.
