Jim Training and Equipment

$275 of $3,000 goal

Jim Joined the Camleot Therapeutic Horsemanship herd in May of 2016. Both tall and strong, we knew he could carry our adult students just as his anscetors carried knights in the days of Kings, Queens, and the round table.

In the short time he has been at Camelot, Jim has learned to stand quietly at the mounting ramp, to move steadily as riders find their balance, and to be a beautiful canvas when it is time to be painted upon.

Now, Jim will go to driving school with an expert driving trainer, and will learn to pull a cart. If he shows the confidence and willingness during the training, Jim will be able to reinstate the driving program that has long been an intregral part of the Camelot curriculum.

The cost of the training for the month of December is $1,500 and we are anticipating that the specialized cart we will purchase will also be $1,500.

Donations  may be made directly through this go fund me site or by contacting us at Camelot by phone at 480-515-1542 or emailing Mary at Mary@Camelotaz.org

Jim has demonstrated the confidence and willingness to drive solo! He has hauled manure, grated the road, and taken adventures through the desert.
Brett, his trainer, tells us that Jim is a hard worker with an unlimited energy reserve.

We are so thrilled and proud of this big boy's progress and can not wait to have him home on Tuesday!

There is still opportunity to donate and assist with his training and equipment costs. If you would rather write a check, call with a credit card number, or pay via pay pal, those are all welcome options!

And a BIG thank you from Jim and all of us at Camelot to those of you who have already given funds to make this possible.
