Help Willow get her B.A. and J.D.!

Hi friends and family; it's your friendly Willow here, asking for help! As many of you know, I'm currently attending UC Berkeley pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies. After, I plan on clearing my school debt and going to law school. I plan to become a lawyer and eventually want to become a judge or a justice.

After having graduated from SRJC last May with five associates degrees with highest honors, I'm currently doing very well at UCB with a 3.89 GPA. But since I'm taking 22 units this semester, my work hours have diminished significantly and I had to take out school loans to pay my expenses.

Recently I was accepted into the Global Internships program through UCB and will be spending two months this summer in Toronto, Canada, working an internship and taking six units across two classes.

I'm taking so many units and doing the internship program in an effort to graduate early. In fact, if I get into the four classes I need for Fall 2017, I will finish my B.A. in December 2017, an entire semester earlier than expected. This is my goal, and, financially, I need help reaching it. 

I am proud of the fact that have been employed consistently for a decade now and have paid my own expenses through SRJC and now UC Berkeley.  I feel so lucky to have the support of my family and friends in my educational endeavors and am thankful for the help I have already been given. 


If I reach my GoFundMe goal, I will be able to pay my expenses through December, or pay off most or all of my student debt, and will be able to eat while I'm in Toronto for two months this summer.
