Help Jules go home to her Mum.....
Jules needs to fly home from Brussels on Tuesday. Unfortunately only 2 weeks before her already booked trip to Iowa with her boys for Christmas. For Jules this is an extra expense she cannot afford on her own, and as a fellow self employed single mum, I would like to call out to her many friends to help make this happen. She has been so strong for us in our time of need, she's always there with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine when hard times hit. And in addition, many of us know how hard it is to live with older parents and our families so far away. So if you have a few euros to spare, consider donating to help her fly and stay for a while.
Let's get her home ;)
If you still want to donate, its not too late. We will close the appeal at the weekend......
Thank you for all the support, if you still wish to donate, the excess will be used to financially support Jules during her trip, as there will be quite a few unplanned and unexpected costs involved.
And feel free to spread the word in any of your personal networks.
Hugs Liz xx
Jules will be back in Brussels tomorrow for a short overnight stop before heading to the US Tuesday morning. Can you help us reach our goal and give her the peace of mind before she flies? Any extra money raised will support Jules extended stay with her family in the US.
Hugs Liz xx
Hello everyone! I am back in Brussels for 15hrs before I fly home tomorrow. As some of you might know I was on a 6 day holiday in Sicily (my first time there) with a friend. So, between yesterday and today we arranged new tickets to Brussels and a ticket for me home, with a return a few days before I fly back home again with the boys on the 17th for three weeks. (which was planned) This would have never been possible without the love and support of Liz, who set it all up and planned which days were best for me to fly back to Brussels and out to Iowa and back and how to pack and leave things there bla, bla... For those of you who know Liz, you will know she is in her element when helping someone in need... And also for the friend that I was in Sicily with for all the emotional support and helping me see how important it was for me to get home before Wednesday and for paying for the ticket, even before I had any idea how or if I would ever be able to repay it. Because of all of you and your love, support and what I like to call "your youness" I am able to see not only how I can pay back the trip, but have a little money for expenses, while I am there. As many know it took every penny I had (and a little help) just to get the tickets for me and the boys to spend Christmas with Mom and Dad. It is hard to grasp the reality now of Mom not being there, but that will come slowly over the next days, weeks, months and probably years. I LOVE you all very very much, including the Anonymous ones... :) Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Jules
