We are trying to finish Jovan Armand's first EP and take it on the road. The goal is to reach out to people across the US who like him have experienced bullying and the struggles of coming from single parent or low income communities. We need equipment for a school tour and performances at local parks and recreation centers in low income communities.
Jovan Armand has known since the ripe age of 5 that he was destined to become an actor, he has always believed that "Stars come in all shapes and sizes" so follow your dreams.
Jovan Armand is a teen actor and has played in various Television Shows such as Nickelodeons's Bella and the Bulldogs, ABC's The Middle, Dad's, Parenthood, 1600 Penn, Shameless, Children's Hospital, Zeke and Luther along with many more. The great Webseries "Los Americans." Current Films available on PBS "Drowning", still going strong in the festival circuit, "Chub"
After portraying a young rapper in his friends' music video and learning to rap the song, Jovan thought he would add music to his resume.
8 years working as an actor has taught him that diversity in your talents is always a good thing. He was given the opportunity to work in the studio and then to perform on stage and he found it was just as exhilarating as being in front of the movie and TV cameras. He found a new way to share his voice with the world and now his journey into the music world has begun.
Jovan has entertained crowds with his own style of Rap Music at multiple concerts and events such as: Labor Day Music Festival 2016, LAPD CRD Community events, Simi Valley 2016 Strawberry Festival, Kind Hearted Compassion Fundraiser, Bully Awareness Network events, Lake Arrowhead, Mission Oaks, Downtown LA and many other Venues and cities.
