Cancer...that dreaded word that devastates so many families, and has done so to our family many times before. This word is especially scary when it pertains to a child.
My nephew, Jordan is 12 years old, and the past few weeks have really been a struggle for him and his family. Jordan had been running a fever that would not go away, his blood counts were concerning so he was admitted to Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft. Meyers Florida. Doctors from all over Florida, Tennessee and Seattle had a difficult time diagnosing him as he was showing multiple types of Leukemia at the same time. They finally have come to an agreement and have diagnosed him with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia....devastating news for Jordan and our family.

Jordan will begin his treatment of chemotherapy today, and I am asking for your support as this will not only be an emotional burden but a financial one as well. My sister Christina does not get paid for her time off of work, so in addition to the days she had to take thus far to be with Jordan, she will be missing weeks, if not months of work without pay....not to mention the medical bills to follow. Funds collected through this campaign with allow Jordan's parents to focus on Jordan's healing and not the financial burden they will take on.
Jordan is the sweetest boy, he loves playing baseball, video games and dinosaurs. He even wants to be a Paleontologist when he grows up! He is aware of his diagnosis and the treatment to come, and is very scared.
Jordan's mom (my sister) Christina and his father Mike met in New Jersey and later relocated to Florida. They currently reside in Cape Coral Florida with Jordan and his brother Austin who is 18 years old.
Please friends and family show your support and donate what you can. Any amount helps.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart on behalf of Jordan, his parents, and our entire family!
