Scholastics New York Trip

Hi! My name is Jeremy Donahue and I go to Forest Hill High School. I have been drawing since I could pick up a pencil. But i have managed to improve on my skill tremendously while in high school. This year I have received many accolades. I won the Youth Art Month flag design competition hosted by Blick art supplies company for $1500 of scholarship money. I have also won 2 awards in the Scholastics Art Awards competition; an American Vision award, and a gold key. The artwork that won these awards is titled " Man Eater" and is currently on display at the Mississippi Museum of Art and is pictured above. This competition is among the largest in the nation. By winning the golden key, that means that I have only won at a regional level, however, my work was entered at the national level and won a gold medal! Out of over 330,000 other entries! Only less than 1% of the nation ever accomplishes this goal. By winning at the national level, I have been invited to attend the Award Ceremony in New York! This is a huge opportunity and a great honor to be a part of. The trip costs around $1000. I hope that you can help me to reach my goal to represent Forest Hill, Jackson,MS, and myself.
