I've created this donation site to help 2 very close friends of mine, Jeff & Julie Barry, of Ball Ground, GA. Both Jeff & Julie are fantastic people, who would do anything to help anyone.
I watched Julie give away her meal to a homeless person when she didn't have enough money to buy her next meal. She takes care of a homeless person on a regular basis at home, also. Julie is currently enrolled in an online restaurant management class.
Jeff is a truck driver who is currently unemployed. He has job leads, but can't go to work immediately because he is in the hospital to have is gall bladder removed. Once that's done, it will be a minimum of 2 weeks before he can return to work.

They are also homeless at this time. They have been living in a slide-in camper (fits into the back of a pickup truck) for the past 3 years. While it's not the best, it's home to them. The problem is that they don't have any way to move it, a place to move it to or the ability to since Jeff is under the weather. When I drove them to the hospital in Atlanta 2 days ago, they were living in a tent at a friends house. The location that their camper is sitting at right now is at his former employers property and must be moved ASAP.
I'm quite sure that I'm going to get yelled at by Julie by creating this donation page. Oh well. I would rather that they have money to buy food and a place to live.
