Jeff Hooker Medical Fund

My name is Lindsey; I'm an ordinary woman with extraordinary kin. I was lucky to meet my father-in-law, Jeff Hooker, about 4 and a half years ago. He's a man worth admiring, with steadfast beliefs, unwavering work ethic and the sort of kindness that is quite rare in the world.
Despite his upbeat persona and drive, he has been very ill for quite some time. Several years ago, he was diagnosed with Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, better known as Hokum Heart Disease, rendering him unable to work and enjoy the activities he once cherished. This disease can often lead to sudden cardiac death. In recent years, due to his many medications and inability to heal quickly, he has injured his back, ribs and last week, broke a section of his hip. He is often in pain and will soon be unable to be as mobile as he once was.

Jeff Hooker is a good ol' country fellow who is also a fantastic father, husband, friend, in-law and grandfather, in general. He is the father I never had, if I am to be honest. Due to his illness, he is unable to work and therefore unable to afford proper care and the restorations needed in his house to allow him to be more mobile. While I admire his stoic demeanor, it pains me to watch him silently suffer. If you can help, even the smallest amount will do. A small act of kindness pays in spades and I will consistently provide proof of how your help has changed someone's life in a positive manner.
