Jade and Matt Marsh have gone through IVF over the last year. After suffering a miscarriage in November, everyone was thrilled when they were pregnant with twins—a boy and girl.
At 22 weeks, Jade went into labor and it was unable to be stopped. After an emergency c-section, Jaxon Matthew and Kennedy Jade came into this world on July 8, at 6:48 pm. Precious Jaxon fought hard, but went to be with Jesus early on July 9. Despite that devastating heartbreak, our family is overjoyed at sweet Kennedy being here and continuing her fight in the NICU.
Jade had some complications following the c-section, but has continued to be a total inspiration in her determination to be discharged and provide nourishment for Kennedy in the NICU. A phrase we’ve heard many times is that there is a “very long road ahead” for Kennedy. Jade and Matt will be essentially making the NICU their home for the foreseeable future.
We’ve created this account after several incredibly generous people have reached out for how to donate and provide during this difficult time. We appreciate every prayer, dollar, and good thought. Jade and Matt have been overwhelmed at the outpouring of love and are so appreciative of every bit.
As as you can imagine, after IVF costs, the NICU costs are mounting and tremendous. In addition to providing food for Jade and Matt while they are staying strong by Kennedy’s side, funds will also be incredibly helpful at offsetting these medical bills.
Jade and Matt also will be able to use the funds for Jaxon’s cremation and memorial costs. As you can imagine, planning for such an event is the most heartbreaking experience for a parent, so any help with that cost is at least something to help.
Kennedy is fighting hard and doing well, but every day is a new battle for her. Please keep her in your prayers! Thank you!
