Hi, my name is Isaac Heng and I am a 20 years old transgender man. I was born as a female but I identify myself as a male. Ever since I was young, I knew I was a male living in a female body, I have been battling with gender dysphoria and I managed to fight through it. I have been on testosterones for over a 2 years and that was one of my biggest highlights in my transition. As I go further into this transition, I would like to get top surgery. All proceeds will go towards my top surgery fund and will directly assist me during this time and transition.
Top Surgery is the most commonly performed gender reassignment surgery for FTM (Female To Male) transsexuals. Top Surgery allows a trans male to live more comfortably, improving psychological and social functioning, majority of the time this tends to be the only surgical step that one takes in their transition.
Type of surgery I will be getting would be known as,
Bilateral Mastectomy which is the Double Incision Top Surgery procedure is the most widely-used technique and is ideal for those who are medium to large chested. During this procedure, the skin on the chest is opened along two horizontal incisions, at the top and bottom of the pectoral muscle (The muscle itself is not touched.) The skin is pulled back and the breast tissue is then removed.
This transition is an important and monumental step in my transition. This would help me greatly with my self-image, self- esteem, as well as where and how I set my future.
I have created this GoFundMe to ask for your support. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover this procedure and I tried several ways to make ends meet.
