Confidence and Hope in Tanzania
Donation protected
Access. Growth. Community.
These are just a few words that come to mind when I think of Project Wezesha in rural Tanzania.
Acess to education for students. Acess to professional development for teachers.
Growth as learners and leaders.
Community involvement, investment, and improvment.
Donations will fund my six-month volunteer commitment to Project Wezesha in Mgaraganza Village, Tanzania. The project seeks to empower local communities through increased access to education for the children. The Amahoro Secondary School is one of Project Wezesha’s partners.
Donations will allow me to:
1. Provide ongoing professional development for Tanzanian educators in the form of teacher trainings, observations, feedback, and collaboration
2. Teach English as a Second Language (ESL) in a humanities class for six months
3. Conduct a weekly after-school girl’s program designed to empower girls through leadership activities and discussion
4. Lead teach for a 30-day study camp for all secondary students
5. Facilitate of a Roots & Shoots project through the Jane Goodall Institute.
