IloIlo, Philippines Dengue Victims

I’ve been made aware of a desperate crisis in The Philippines about the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever outbreak specifically in Western Visayas  especially in the province of Iloilo where I have a close family friend that resides there. She lives in this particular area and reached out to me for help because there are so many people in her town that need help.

Hospitals are currently being flooded by patients desperately needing medical attention. The hospital only has 50 beds and there are over 100 patients in the hallways seeking medical help. What is extremely sad is that a large range of victims are children from the ages 1-10.

I am working closely with her to try to help raise donations for folding beds ($25 each) Electric fans ($30 each) lotion for the infection and other necessities as this crisis continues to gain momentum in the amount of victims it claims in her small community.

I know The Philippines is very far away however the small community is in desperate need of help and I urge you to have compassion and donate to this crisis. Every little bit counts, even if you can only do five dollars. This small amount can save a life as five dollars goes a long way in the Philippines and every last penny is thoroughly appreciated.
