Iceland Expedition on Crutches

**UPDATE We made it back in one piece! I could not be more delighted with how the trip went and I want to thank everyone for the support and generosity shown to us. As mentioned in the original post below, we have promised to donate all surplus funds to the Childhood Cancer Foundation and for this reason I am leaving this Go Fund Me page open for a little longer for those who wish to contribute. I met some of the children from the CFF last year and saw first hand the joy this charity brings to both children and parents affected by cancer. Their work should be applauded and I would encourage you to support them any way you can.

'Hi everyone, Nikki here from Fighting Fit For Ewing's . Some of you may have read about my upcoming expedition to Iceland. If not you can read about it here . If you are more inclined to watch videos than read articles do not worry as I have an interview with TV3 that you can watch here . Due to the situation with my hip along with rising temperatures in Iceland we have decided to attempt to organise the entire trip in one month! That's a lot of pressure on my wee shoulders! I am asking for help from businesses/organisations who could assist in any way to make this idea a reality. I am determined to do as many physical challenges as I can while I still have my leg. This is set to be my toughest challenge to date but I am hoping this once in a life time opportunity can happen with your help.

Due to the nature of this challenge it will require a team of professionals to assist me including, a medical professional, a rope access technician and an experienced guide. Funds raised will contribute to these costs.
