Home4SPIRIT @ Sully Farm
SPIRIT purchased 8 acres of land on Compton Road in Centreville, just 12.4 miles from FPFP. It will forever be known as Sully Farm. This space will be used as a Farm , and we shall work to obtain all County required documents (Special Permit ) to serve community at the Farm.
SPIRIT is devoted to continue serving community at the Frying Pan Farm Park.
In order to be able to assure long term sustainability of our organization at rented field at the Park, we need to build real Home4SPIRIT at Sully Farm
Sully Farm will give us the ability to sustain and grow the current programs at the Frying Pan Farm Park.
It will afford us the opportunity to develop more and different programs which cannot be delivered in a public setting.
SPIRIT will be able to rotate horses from FPFP thus allowing us to save even more horses, train them and put them into service for our clients.
Sully Farm will give us space to build a classroom and store farm equipment and other assets that do not fit at the Park.
It will be a real and permanent home owned and operated by SPIRIT!
Keep SPIRIT alive and safe at the Frying Pan Farm Park by building a Sully Farm
Winter is still not over, but thanks to your support we started process (by hiring professionals) to create a site plan. This is another step toward our dream of Home4SPIRIT
Building drive way and parking , facilities, fencing, well and septic system are in the line.
This photo says it all about our enthusiasm :)
With Your help SPIRIT will continue serving community at the Frying Pan Farm Park, and have safe home to continue improving all our programs , and have safe place to retire horses who need it, and bring new ones :)
Stay with SPIRIT, as we can not do it without you
SPIRIT is dedicated to continue serving same community at the Frying Pan Farm Park, and to make it happen, we need your help to build Home4SPIRIT!
You choose to invest in community by giving to trustworthy non profit.
We know that being charith isn’t good enough anymore. Transparency is our priority, and you can find our financial and narrative annual reports at our .
Your made SPIRIT serve and grow, and the most important you provided energy we needed to survive and move into the Frying Pan Farm Park. You made a difference in Herndon, Fairfax County, and Northern Virginia. You provided constant services for …..children and youth in TR, EAL, EAP program.
Your money has been used wisely, purchasing essential equipment (tractor and all we needed to deal with lack of water and electricity at the Park land) , and paying high cost of transition itself, together with purchasing amazing 8 acres of land just 12 miles from the Park. This is the first step to final goal - stable and strong urban horsemanship operation to serve children, youth and all who may benefit from our Mission - healing and learning life skills through the interaction with horses.
What is the next ?
We shall build Sully Farm - Home for SPIRIT together with all who care of what horses can do in life of children, youth, veterans, seniors, people who suffer from depression, stress, anxiety.
Because Park is perfect space for mounted activities, like TR and EAL for youth, but new and much needed services like different types of EAP and EAL for adults need privacy. Because our horses need space to take a break from hard work at the Park, and because we need space to prepare new horses to replace old and injured from the Park operation site.
Because only with functional Sully Farm, SPIRIT will last long and provide services for future generations of children and youth and all other groups who seek for Equine Assisted Activities, Therapies and Learning programs, in this dense urban area.
Thank you for your support, and see HERE what you did so far
Hope that you feel proud of what your $ has done at SPIRIT.
Stay in touch and share this story in your circle of people who care of important things in life.
Thanks to you - SPIRIT was able to serve over 300 children and adults with disability, youth, seniors, veterans in 2017.
We hope that SPIRIT is still close to your heart and you will consider to help us to serve children, youth, seniors and veterans in our community even more in 2018
Without you, SPIRIT can't do it.
With much respect and gratitude
