Holly Holmquist's Radio Show
Even though the radio show is free to listeners, air time is expensive. KKNW has given me an excellent deal offering me air time, studio use, and producer fees at half the cost of other radio spots. I would like to raise enough to fund my first year in radio. This will provide time to hone the show's format, attract sponsors and strengthen my personal practice as a day minister. I have signed a no-frills contract that will include archiving the shows for future listening, as many of my listeners live outside of KKNW broadcast area. The minimum cost for a year on the air is $7000.
I am very grateful knowing that this program will touch the lives of many people, helping them see the divinity and unlimited possibility of their own being. If you feel called to help contribute to the cost of my radio program which is free to listeners, your help would be most appreciated. If you know others who would like to support this type of work, please share.
There is no big or small in God. It all helps.

Thanks to all the donors we are so close to the yearend goal of $7000! Your contributions have made so much possible for me and for Open Conversations’ listeners. The goal of Open Conversations remains empowering people to live life from a spiritual center. We have been blessed to have some fascinating guests over the past several months. Motown Session artist Eddie Watkins Jr. visited in September and talked of the inspiration behind his uplifting music and the challenges of life in the fast lane. In October and November Rabbi Ted Falcon & Imam Jamal Rahman, 2 of the 3 Interfaith Amigos, made appearances on the show, both spoke of their interfaith efforts and how they personally navigate everyday life with spiritual focus. Musician James Howard rounded out October sharing his vision of music and spiritual transformation. In December, Staff Sergeant William J. Rice talked of living his passion and purpose as a Ranger and combat medic in the Army. Through his military service Staff Sergeant Rice has been blessed to be a part of many humanitarian efforts on his various deployments. Most recently Rev. Michael Bogar visited and we discussed the importance of accepting and blessing life’s ups and downs.
All of these shows and many more can be listened to on the archives. Here is a link: http://1150kknw.com/archives/open-conversations-archive/
