Help Rebuild Higher Ground Espresso and Tea

As many of your know, Guerneville and the surrounding river towns were heavily flooded this past week during a huge storm that hit Sonoma County hard. What the storm left  behind it was flooded destruction and broken hearts.  Our dear friend Emily is one of the people who's business was heavily affected by flooding.  Her sweet little coffee shop, Higher Ground in Guerneville,  was under 6 feet of water just a few days ago.  Emily was lucky that her shop
was yellow tagged and not red tagged which means that she can reopen at some point when the damage is remediated .  Its going to take time and  hard work but she is determined to see this through.  Repairs have to be made and inventory and supplies have to be restocked so that the inspector can give her the green light to reopen.  The most stressful part of this whole situation is that Higher Ground is Emily's sole livelihood and with the doors remaining closed, she is at a financial loss.

For those of you who know Emily, you know what a phenomenal human she is.  Her kindness radiates and she has one of the biggest hearts around.  She has been an independent and a financially stable business owner for years.  To get hit like this in the middle of the slowest season of the year is difficult as you could imagine.  Lets support this amazing woman and get her back on her feet.  Lets give her the opportunity to have some stability so she can work through this mess and come out on the other side of it stronger.  Lets help rebuild Higher Ground.
