like to thank you for taking time out of your busy day to stop at my page.
Second, I would like you to know that this page has been set up to help raise
money so that I may purchase a 100 assessment (class set) of the online reading
assessment known as the DORA assessment for my upcoming 2013-2014 Kindergarten
class.
The DORA assessment is an online reading assessment that tests students on eight skills of reading and immediately gives detailed results. This is extremely helpful for any teacher because the results show where a student is struggling and also where a student is doing well, which makes creating focused reading groups stress-free and enables myself or any teacher to focus reading instruction on the specific skills that need it. The Dora assessment also adapts the test by giving harder or easier questions based on the student responses it receives so you can get more accurate results. The assessment is also very kid friendly, using a mix of audio, text and pictures, it hardly seems like a test to them at all.
I have used the DORA assessment in the past and wish every school utilized it. Sadly my school district now does not and that is why I need your help! The DORA set I would like to buy is a set of 100 assessments which would be enough for an entire school year for my class (each student will take it five times throughout the year). Please help my class and my cause by donating whatever you can.
