Let's Help Alfredo Beat Cancer!

Thank you so much for taking the time to read our story.

My name is Maritza, and I am Alfredo's significant other. Everthing was normal until Alfredo started complaining of pain in his throat. We thought it was a cold until we had to rush to the hospital one night. Little did we knew that our life was about to change forever. Alfredo was diagnosed with a 38cm cancerous tumor on his esophagus.

My days now consist of taking care of him physically, doctor appoinments and long stays at the hospital, from mornings to nights that visit hours are over. Not only is Alfredo an amazing person, but he is also a great father, an incredible partner and a reliable friend. Always there for others in their time of need.

Today is a different story. He spends his days on a bed, rarely eats because of the pain it causes to swallow and he is also suffering from early stages of memory loss. It's not easy for me to see someone that was full of life and always making me smile during my hardest days in this condition. I had to give up work because he requires 24/7 care. I am creating this page hoping we could receive some help until things get better for us. Because I have faith things will go back to how they used to be. He will be getting surgery soon, and we need all the support we can get. 

We do understand times are rough, so if you are not able to donate anything, your prayer is also needed during this hard time in our lives. We will be forever thankful.

We do believe God is capable of moving mountains. Help me make Alfredo's story one of them.
