Help Jerry Zhao's Family

We need your help! We lost our friend Jerry Zhao to an unfortunate boating accident two weeks ago. Jerry is survived by his wife (Chunling Zhang), a five-year old son, and an unborn baby. Jerry worked very hard to support his loving family which is devastated both emotionally and financially by this tragedy.
We are raising funds from the community to help this family through the hardships and to show emotional support which the family desperately needs. Per decision of the family, the funds will be used primarily to cover the following:
1. Funeral.
2. Family relocation cost back to China.
3. Other unexpected cost
4. Unused funds (not the part over goal, but unused part) will be split into two parts, half to an educational fund for two kids, and half to a fund and distributed to other charity organizations related to children, such as Seattle Children’s.

也 许大家多多少少知道赵青溺水身亡的噩耗。2016年6月20日傍晚，37岁的赵青带5岁的儿子在家附近的 Phantom Lake 乘船钓鱼，船体倾覆，两人落水。 孩子被随后赶到的消防队员救起，但因为当时天气不佳，湖底情况复杂，赵青的遗体直到7月5日才被家属请的商业打捞队找 到。
赵青和张春玲是一对来自中国新疆伊犁的华人夫妇，他们有一个5岁的儿子（被救），妻子张春玲还怀着身孕。他 们一家居住在西雅图，丈夫赵青是软件工程师，妻 子张春玲在家相夫教子。这一家平静幸福的生活被最近发生的巨大灾难彻底摧毁了。妻子张春玲沉浸在失去丈夫的巨大悲痛之中，还要强忍支撑照料5岁的孩子和腹 中的胎儿。除此之外还要强打精神去应对当时漫长的遗体打捞、房贷、车贷等各种难题。
赵青夫妇来西雅图的时间并 不长，很多人和他们夫妇不熟。但是作为同在海外拼搏的华人，对赵青家人所遭遇的灾难和悲痛，我们感同身受。愿竭尽绵薄之力帮助赵 青的幼子弱妻，减少他们遭受的困难。 目前包括赵青同仁在内的很多朋友在帮助解决一些诸如保险及身份，和警察局打交道，和打捞队沟通，和殡葬馆联系，接待国内亲人等等。
我们特别注意到这个家庭即将面临或者已经面临的巨大财政困难。为此我们呼吁：海内海外华人，请伸出您的援手，帮助赵青的家人度过艰难时期！
