Help Us Help Nimbus

We're Wes and Liz. You may already know that we are obsessed with our pups, Luna, Macy, and Nimbus. Nimbus is why we're here; she's the most recent addition to our budding family and has quickly become one of the most important parts of that family. On Monday morning, Nimbus had a seizure, which led to us finding out she has a shunt in her liver. A shunt disables her from properly digesting proteins, which causes ammonia to bombard her bloodstream, which is painfully killing her. The surgery to remove the shunt is just shy of 6k. If we don't proceed, she has less than a year. Since she is only 8 months and still receptive to medical intervention, we know that this is exactly what she needs to live, per our vets prognoses.

We got her from a breeder who promised a lifetime of health, but since bringing her home we have dealt with more than what primary caregiving encompasses. She means more to us than we can articulate, so it would mean the world if you could help us save her.

We're already depeleting our wedding fund--her survival means more to us than simple, "I Do"s. She's our baby. Please help us save her life so we can share ours with hers.
