Help Slain Refugee's Family

On July 19th, 2015, at around 10:30pm, Jit went to his local corner store with his brother to purchase some food items for his family. While getting back into his car, after making his purchases, he and his brother were approached by 3 individuals. One of the individuals tried to wrestle with Jit to keep his door open. After a struggle ensued, Jit was shot in the chest and died before the ambulance could make it to the hospital.
Jit Mongar was born in Nepal. He came to the United States from the refugee camps a few years ago to make a better life for himself and his family. Jit became a full time warehouse employee at our Company back in October 2013. Jit was one of the hardest working individuals we have ever had the privilege to work with. Jit showed up for work every day on time and had a contagious positive attitude. Last month Jit was voted the Sunnking Employee of the Month. He received an astounding 20 nominations!
Jit was loved by his family, friends and co-workers. Jit leaves behind a wife, 7 children and countless family members and friends.
As people who only want to help and be supportive during this time we ask for whatever amount of money you can share for the surviving loved ones of Jit. He worked hard to support his growing family and never asked for handouts. He only wanted to make a good life for his family and himself.
