Sona's fight against cancer fund

Last year after burying her mother, my cousin Sona was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Sona is only 35 years old and a loving wife and mother to two beautiful children who need her. Since her diagnosis, she now has stage IV cancer which has spread to her lungs, liver, spleen, ovaries and spinal cord. This cancer is very aggressive and her doctors are not recommending surgery. After trying every possible chemotherapy treatment, she is now undergoing immunotherapy, to help fight and kill the rapid spreading cancer genes.

Immunotherapy, also known as biologic therapy, is a type of cancer treatment that boosts the body's natural defenses to fight the cancer. It uses substances made by the body or in a laboratory to improve or restore immune system function.

The total cost for this treatment is $135,000.

Sona is currently in Texas fighting for her life with every ounce of her body to beat cancer and continue her life and journey with her family. I’ve never known anyone to be as strong and positive as my cousin Sona.
