Oscar Needs Help

Oscar is a 6 month old English Bulldog, who through no fault of his own, has been diagnosed with a liver shunt.

A liver shunt occurs when an abnormal connection persists or forms between the portal vein or one of its branches, and another vein, allowing blood to bypass or shunt around the liver. In the majority of cases, a liver shunt is caused by a birth defect called a congenital portosystemic shunt.
Oscar is the best dog we’ve ever had. We have done every possible thing for him. We have exhausted every resource we have.
 We unfortunately cannot afford his surgery without help. Oscar needs medical treatment. We are asking for money to help pay for this major surgery. We love him so much. Any little bit helps.
