Surgery gone wrong.

In August 2016 Ken had to go in for surgery on his back to fix numbness in both feet.   A two hour out-patient  surgery turned into a seven hour surgery, with major complications. , The surgeon Told Ken and I "I made a mistake during your surgery, I tore the dural sack the holds the spinal column,  I have patched the tear but you will need to  stay in the hospital until we are sure the patch has held.  Each day while in the hospital he developed pain in his legs in addition to progressive numbing in parts of his body.  While he kept letting the doctor and staff know, they  told us that it was normal after surgery.     He was released from the hospital after five days of increasing complications, we were told they could not fix the problems caused by the surgery and assured us the complications should resolve themselves with time. Ken sought a second opinion.  The new surgeon informed Ken required an additional surgery to correct what the first surgery caused and to actually complete the work that was supposed  to be performed in the first surgery.   AFTER THE SECOND SURGERY it was determined that the first surgery resulted in permanent nerve damage to the Cauda Equina, and that the first surgery was found to have been malpractice.

LOSING EVERYTHING.  We have owned a very successful small part-time hobby business for 22 years.  We showed, trained, bred, and whelped AKC Champion bloodline Rottweilers.  We were triple A rated from the Better Business Bureau.  We  were featured on television and radio because of our excellent breeding practice and care shown for each dog and puppy.  The puppies were whelped in our bedroom in our closet so they had 24 hour care and supervision.
See www.kenskennel.net.   Out of love and care for our dogs we had to give up our company to a co breeder who we have known for years.  We have sold everything we could sell.

I will need a lot of additional medical care and therapy.  We are unable to pay the copays for our high cost medications, groceries, auto payments and are in danger of losing our home.  My wife and I have gone thru our savings.  We both are on disability, but are unable to get aid because we are a few dollars over what the limit is.

Funds collected will be used to help  us keep our home and by the needed medicine and food we need, until we are able to go to court for the malpractice suit.  That is case Number  1722-CC11534 filed in St. Louis, Missouri.

WE URGENLTLY NEED FUNDS NOW TO KEEP US FROM BECOMING HOMELESS.  ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.
