Heather Rivas' Medical Fund

I am currently raising money to help with my health care costs due to my Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Breast Cancer diagnosis. I have wonderful health insurance but will still have to pay co-pays, perscriptions and multiple other extra costs along the way. I am a single woman living on one income with a 15 year old son who is the light at the end of my tunnel! He is smart, loving and compassionate with a love for animals and the outdoors. Throughout my journey I have found so many friends, aquaintenances, family and extended who have fought this battle. Breast cancer does not discriminate and has become overwhelmingly common in women in their 40's. I will use any $$$ donated to cover my extra expenses at the end of my journey what $$$ are left I plan to pay forward to someone else in need or donate it to breast cancer research. This disease needs to be stopped, the current statistic is 1 in 5 women will have breast cancer. When my close friend of my diagnosis I was her 3rd friend in 6 months to be diagnosed, this is unacceptable. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
