Healys Little Library

We are 7 students at Healy Elementary School looking to make a difference in our school and community.

The program we are apart of is called Our American Voice .  The focus of this program that came to our school is to teach students how to make the world a better place by creating a project promoting active citizenship.

What: Healy’s Little Library.  

Where: Healy elementary school

Why:
-To create a place to “trade” books in our school and community.

-Reading is entertainment: All kids should read because you can get lost in your stories.

-Reading fires up your brain

-It is everyone's right to have access to books.

How much?: $600- Library house, post, topper, supplies and books.

*Originally we calculated $500 as a budget, but, we then realized we needed materials that we didnt plan for when beginning to build. So we raised our goal to $600!
